The Fourslide Difference:

An efficient alternative to progressive die stamping when parts have forms in excess of 90 degrees or across multiple planes.  Inexpensive tooling allows customers to move into hard tooling earlier in the product lifecycle, resulting in superior pricing even in mid-volume production.  High quality tooling continues to perform even when transitioning to ultra high-volume production. Fourslide part orientation typically allows for optimal forming across the material grain and generates less scrap than most progressive die layouts.

Part Examples:

Battery contacts, clamps, brackets, flat springs, EMI shielding, jumpers, bus bars, clips, retention springs, terminal contacts, wire forms

Why Northwest Fourslide?

Price: Our parts aren’t “cheap”, they are economical.  Continuous improvement and innovation allow us to continue to offer the best price possible.  In many applications, we can eliminate secondary operations that can significantly reduce piece price.

Quality: Quality doesn’t mean the most expensive.  It means implementing the best process, tool, material, and controls to deliver consistent, conforming parts that meet the fit, form, and function of your application, and then delivering it on-time.  We partner with our customers to provide unparalleled manufacturability feedback and set a project up for success throughout the full product lifecycle.

Complexity: We can do the easy stuff, but we thrive on the tough project and our machines and staff are best suited to make the difficult look easy.

Tooling:  We do it all in-house.  Fourslide is an art and it takes a village to do it right and make sure your parts are supported decades from now.
