Inexpensive tooling allows customers to move into hard tooling earlier in the product lifecycle, resulting in superior pricing even in mid-volume production. High quality tooling continues to perform even when transitioning to ultra high-volume production. Fourslide part orientation typically allows for optimal forming across the material grain and generates less scrap than most progressive die layouts.
